I would have to say the best part of your portfolio would have to be your creative writing. It really expresses who you are when it come to writing in a creative way. When reading your persuasive essay I saw alot of good examples and reasons to why social networking is so beneficial. Other than that though your portfolio was really well put together and I think met all the requirements. GOOD JOB JACOB!

Jacobs wikispace is great. Its complete and organized. It looks like he worked hard on it. His papers are all organized and with out error. He has a well rounded portfolio.

Reflection
I believe I have learned somethinga lot this year in English year.Class. For one thing, I have learned about World Literature obviously but,how to write a full, five paragraph essay, which will really help me in the future. Another useful thing I also learned was how to write a little betterquality essay in a short time, like for the SATs and faster. Whenthings like that.
I feel like I say fasterhave improved on writing fuller, more detailed essays. I meanalso have figured out how to start essays. I used to spend hours just trying to figure out on how I was going to start a piece of writing, but now I can writedo it with no problem at all. This improvement alone will really help me and my writing ability. I think I am still a quality essaylittle weak in the area of poetry. I think I am just not a poet or papersomething, I cannot write it, but it is okay because it is not that important for what I want to be out of high school.
My favorite piece that I wrote has to be my creative writing piece of my portfolio. It was when we went and wrote about what we saw in the courtyard. I had a timed scenario, whichlot of fun writing it because I could just picture courtyard kids running around doing weird things to each other. Aaron and I were joking around when we were righting this also so it was a lot of fun. On a serious note though, I feel it brought out a creativeness that I did not know about before, so that was cool. I was just writing what I saw in my head or what was actually there.
My least favorite piece we wrote was our midterm essay. We had to write about the book we read, but it was about the American Dream and stuff also. I did not really do before.understand the prompt I learned thing that helped meguess, because I did not get a little forgood grade on it. That’s mainly the SATsreason why I did not like doing those SAT prompt essays helped meit.
Now wikispaces versus a paper portfolio. I like the wikispaces personal because it is more eco-friendly and that’s always good and you can just type it up and post it, it is a little easier. The advantage the paper portfolio has is that you can decorate the folder it is in writing me SAT essay.and that is fun.
So, really I have learned hownothing bad to right a full essay like a five paragraph essay.say about this class. I also learned a lot about World Literature and about writing and I met some new people who are my friends now.

years old and a 11th grader at Kempsville High School. I love playing soccer and I have my whole life, it is my life pretty much. when I am not playing soccer I like to chill with my friends, go to the beach, snowboard( obviously only in the winter), offroading, and writing papers for English class( not really) ha.
